Centrally located in the heart of West Knoxville, the attractive Shannondale/Buckingham
Campus is an active retirement community providing independence, privacy and companionship in a gracious environment.

Founded in 1967 as a Retirement Center, Shannondale and Buckingham are non-profit entities administered by Presbyterian Homes of Tennessee, Inc. There are many similarities in the varied accommodations, all designed to enhance a fuller, more pleasant life-style.

Beautifully appointed lobbies and clubhouse areas; excellent restaurant-style dining rooms that serve three tempting meals each day prepared in our own kitchens.

Full-time activities directors and resident councils encourage residents to participate in a large variety of interesting, creative, social, religious and cultural activities each month.

Although accommodations vary, each facility is unique in character but also interconnected
with a variety of health care services.

The Shannondale campus offers retirees a variety of independent living options, from private
homes, duplexes and garden villas in our Buckingham area, to pleasant, comfortable rooms and apartments in our ever-popular Retirement Center.

In later years, for more personal care, Shannondale offers you the comfort of our
Assisted Living Center and our 200-bed Health Care Center.
